Kevin has over 15 years of experience working in digital, TV, direct, print, brand, and social channels for brands including Salesforce, Microsoft, AT&T, Summit Learning, Xerox, Getty Images, Carnival Cruise Lines, Highmark BCBS, Hyatt Vacation Club, Leatherman Tools, Freightliner Trucks, Detroit Diesel and the Oregon State Lottery.

I began my career as a copywriter over 15 years ago, and I never stopped writing. Whether you need something to play in the brand space, something very direct, or something else entirely, I can make words work for you.

I launched my first content campaign in 2008, back before it even had a name. Since then, I have led the execution of countless video, social, CRM and blog content campaigns. And I’m happy to bring those skills to bear for you.

Through my freelance career I have helped clients build their brand in actionable and accountable ways. Senior Consultant (Creative Director) – Accenture | Nov 2020 – Present

As a CD-Level Consultant with Accenture, I have been a senior member of both the Salesforce and Microsoft Brand Teams. With them, I ideate, write, and test extensive digital campaigns for several of their sub-brands across an array of digital media.

Creative & Content Director – Summit Learning | Sept 2018 – Jan 2020

I was the head of the creative and content team, working with our many internal and external partners to shape the brand of Summit, build a robust content program, and develop effective creative campaigns across a wide array of media. My former CEO once described a campaign I ran as, “The best work we’ve ever made.”

Head of Copy (Creative Director) North and South America – FEED Communications | Mar 2017 – Mar 2018

At Feed, I oversaw all copy for the entirety of the Americas, leading a roster of 6 copywriters of varying levels to constantly push, improve and expand their work. While there, I led the establishment of an extensive testing program for the world’s 3rd largest ecommerce platform, as well as the launch of their B2B arm’s first content program.

Senior Marketing Copywriter (ACD) – Getty Images | May 2015 – Aug 2016

I worked with the CD to successfully plan and hire Getty’s first internal agency team. I helped lead the team as we built their creative skills, developed extensive content and advertising capabilities, and delivered a global rebrand for the tech giant.

Associate Creative Director – HackerAgency (FCB/IPG) | Feb 2011 – Feb 2015

I began working at Hacker as a Copywriter and quickly rose to the post of Associate Creative Director, overseeing their second largest client group. In that time, I built a client roster that included AT&T, Carnival Cruise Lines, Highmark Insurance Agency, AAA, New York Life and Hyatt Vacation Club, among many others. I also contributed to and lead several RFPs and pitches, successfully resulting in new agency billings totaling over $19M.

Copywriter – GSM Mercury | May 2010 – Jan 2011

GSM Mercury is a Seattle-based public affairs advertising firm that represents some of the largest corporations and political organizations in the country. We work with all media and the biggest part of my job is starting from scratch and coming up with our big ideas, then executing.

Copywriter – Pop Art Inc. | Jul 2008 – Apr 2010

As a copywriter for Pop Art, I have been actively involved in projects ranging from simple technical writing, to SEO optimization, to complete rebranding efforts.

AM Operations and Marketing – Typhoon! Inc | Aug 2006 – Jun 2008

While working at Typhoon! restaurants, I helped manage, market and operate two of their locations. During that time, I handled marketing for not only a wholly new concept restaurant, but also their robust catering arm.
